Martha Stewart = Bad Mom? Whatttt?
So, I was completely shocked when I found out that Martha Stewart’s daughter recently released a book about her childhood life and her relationship with her mother. The book is far from being a joyful story and is labeled “Whateverland”. It’s basically the story of a rich girl in a loveless family environment.
Apparently, Martha Stewart wasn’t the same person back then that we know now. In an excerpt to the media, Alexis writes that she grew up with a glue gun to her head, which apparently is a metaphor for describing the perfectionism attitude in her home. She also describes holidays at the Stewart home. Alexis has to wrap her own presents on Christmas Eve with a warning from her mother not to peek. She says that the presents were never worth looking at. In addition, Martha made her entire family stay quiet and turn off all the lights on Halloween to avoid trick-or-treaters. When she was home, Mother Stewart gave kids pennies and apples.
The last shocking tidbit of information is the fact that there was never any food in the house! Come on, Martha, you’re a famous TV cook! What’s that all about? But it’s all in good fun, as Martha encourages everyone to buy her daughter’s book as “it is hilarious and enlightening and full of funny stories”. Way to be positive, Martha!
Kim Kardashian Hired TV Husband?
I used to be a huge fan of the Kardashians and loved their TV show but now I’m just getting annoyed. Apparently, Kim was shopping around for an athlete television husband! I knew that their marriage was fake and everyone has been saying so to! Kris Humphries wasn’t her first choice (duh, he’s just so annoying! I like the old Scott better than him!)
Kim said that she wanted to cast New YorK Knicks basketball player Danilo Gallinari as her husband. What won’t she do for money and fame? He was approached by E! and asked him if he would be interested in starring on a reality show and dating Kim. He turned it down and said he would be happy to meet her but not date or appear on TV. E! even said that it would be great for his career. I guess Kris took the bait! I might actually watch the divorce episode where I am sure Kim will act like she’s just lost the love of her life and that her life is ruined! And I am sure that Vera Wang (along with many other people who gave her material donations for her big wedding day) will be furious the whole marriage was a TV scam!!
Yay for Gender Equality
England has officially changed its rules. The first born child of Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton will be the next in line for the throne, regardless of whether the baby is a boy or a girl! This is exciting news. Now, let’s hope we see a little prince or princess soon! That baby will surely be adorable since the parents are gorgeous people!
